History

We are a fourth generation farm family.  Our present operation was started by Bob's parents, Lamar and Cindy, in 1970 near Cedarville, Ohio.  From 1970 to around 2000, the farm was very diversified with livestock, hay, straw, Pioneer Seed Sales and grain production.  During this time they raised their three children:  Bob, Rachel, and Alan.  Both Bob and Alan are  actively farming and Rachel's husband has a career in agriculture. Today, like many families, we are almost entirely focused on grain production in Greene, Clark, and Madison counties.

Farming Practices

We are a no-till farming operation.  The majority of the nutrients needed by our  crops are applied during planting and as the crop is growing.  We believe that choosing this system allows us to work with the living soil God created and leave it healthier for the next generation.

Sports

All of Lamar and Cindy's grandchildren have shown livestock in 4-H which has allowed them to still participate in the livestock industry.
